UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS) is a registered charity with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status.

Every year, thousands of young Singaporeans graduate into a tough job market. In 2025, only 74.4% of university graduates found full-time work within six months, down from 87.5% three years ago.¹ At the same time, global demand for green and sustainability skills is outpacing supply.² UNGCNS Youth Sustainability Initiatives exist to close that gap, equipping youth with real, in-demand skills and connecting them directly with employers among our member companies.

This year, for the first time, our annual Gala Dinner will transform into a fundraising gala in support of that mission.

Singapore Apex Corporate Sustainability Awards

The Singapore Apex Corporate Sustainability Awards are a benchmark of excellence in corporate sustainability and recognize companies whose business operations or solutions have exemplified the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, on environment, human rights, labour, and anti-corruption. The annual award spotlights companies that have taken decisive steps to advance the UN SDGs and aims to inspire more organizations to share the responsibility of achieving a more sustainable future. The award in the Sustainable Solutions category specifically recognizes businesses that outperform in products or services meeting the sustainability needs of other businesses, the environment and society.

Sustainablity Leadership Awards

The Sustainability Leadership Awards celebrate leaders within the UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS) community who are driving meaningful corporate sustainability transformation, not just in their organisations, but across industries and value chains. Beyond recognition, the Awards serve as a strategic platform to identify and elevate executives advancing the next phase of business leadership in ASEAN. Winners join the broader UNGCNS leadership ecosystem, contributing to regional dialogues, industry working groups, and multi-stakeholder convenings.

The Awards are organised by UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS), the local chapter of the United Nations Global Compact.

As the leading voice on corporate sustainability, UNGCNS drives multi-stakeholder action to forge a more sustainable future, founded on the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Through various platforms and partnerships, UNGCNS advances the stewardship of sustainable business practices and Singapore’s national agenda of becoming a regional sustainable business hub. In addition, UNGCNS nurtures the next generation of responsible business leaders through its youth initiatives.
